This week we continued to learn about geometry in math (2-D and 3-D shapes) and we used our knowledge to create Thanksgiving turkeys!  We used 2-D shapes to make the turkey feathers, and they turned out great!  We also engaged in a writing activity with our grade 7 buddies.  Our buddies were so kind and encouraging as they helped us brainstorm ideas to write about, how to spell the tough words, and even read with us when we were finished.  We had such a great time, and we look forward to working with our buddies in the near future!  Here are our turkeys and writing pieces.
